Storax Racking Supplies was established in May 2003 following the demise of Dexion Ltd*. Initially, their objective was simply to provide a source of Speedlock Mk3®-compatible products for the thousands of UK companies who have bought that system over nearly 50 years. Dexion Speedlock Mk3® is one of the most popular racking systems ever produced and is still the system of choice for many end users. By offering a reliable, quality-assured supply of components for spares, repairs and add-ons, Storax Racking Supplies allows users to extend the life of their Speedlock Mk3® racking.


The Storax Racking Supplies team has grown from 5 members in 2003 to 8 today. Six of them gained their knowledge from their time with Dexion Ltd*, the acknowledged founder of the storage and materials handling industry. Two of them also have first-hand experience with other mainstream UK manufacturers, which gives them a well-rounded understanding of the industry in general, not just one product range in particular.


They are thrilled with the success of the business, with many of their trade customers now buying their ‘SP80’ racking as their product of choice for new, greenfield installations, not only for Speedlock®-compatible applications. In fact, their new-build business will soon outstrip the orders they receive for use in legacy Speedlock® systems, as SP80’s reputation as a good-quality, fairly-priced racking system in its own right continues to grow.
