Located in north-eastern France, an expanding plumbing distributor is reorganizing its order preparation system with light and heavy dynamic storage.
Following the installation of two Carton Wheel Flow dynamic storage turnkey projects, the customer wanted to optimise the pallet storage area, until now fitted with static Mecalux shelving.

Only the design of new Interroll Cart Pushback system allowed pallets weighing 1,200kg to be stored. An expert in logistics, Interroll provided a turnkey project, including layout plans, shelving, pushback carts and assembly.

The installation includes 80 lanes running 4 pallets deep. The pallets are stored with the runners perpendicular to the axis of the lanes in LIFO configuration (last in, first out). Certain specific lanes are designed for accumulated storage with either 4 Euro pallets (800 x 1,200 mm) or 3 industrial pallets (1,000 x 1,200 mm).
